The new Grid view of the points will help you working with significant number of points, easily creating your filters and track progress on your project.

 

 

To have access to, you have to select the function grid view in the menu points of your list.


 

 

Overview :

This new screen has an Excel Grid, what will give you the possibility to have an overview of all your points. It only exist  for the web version.

 

 

 

The grid part of the screen is divided into 3 parts:

  • The top part of the grid holds search fields on every columns
  • The middle part of the grid holds the columns headers allowing you sorting the data
  • The bottom part of the grid is the data itself

 

 

You can find the check boxes at the left of the screen, to select the points and make actions like :  archive, copy to, print, edit, move to a list.

 

 

 

The columns are :

  • Number.
  • List.
  • Subject
  • List item.
  • Room.
  • Creation date.
  • End date.
  • Status.
  • In charge.
  • Annex ?
  • Archive ?

 

Search in the header :

In the header of the columns (search fields) you are able to input data to filter the content of the grid.

Depending on the type of field, the search in the column header varies :

 

By number.

When you select the drop-down menu you have the choice between :

 

 

 

By list :

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

 

By subject : You can filter your points  on the  subject.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

By category: You can filter your points on the categories and subcategories.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

By room : You can filter your points on the rooms from the project.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

 

By creation date : You can filter on the creation date of your points.

When you click on this field, a calendar is displayed, allowing you to select a date. The date selected will be displayed in the field after having closed the calendar.

 

 

By end date : You can filter your points on their creation date.

When you click on this field, a calendar is displayed, allowing you to select a date. The date selected will be displayed in the field after having closed the calendar.

 

 

By status : You can filter your points on their status. You can for example obtain a list with all your points in progress.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

  • The statuses that are used in the project. (active or inactive)

 

 

By person in charge : You can filter on the person or enterprise that you will put in charge.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

By attached file : You can filter your points that have an attached file.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

Archived ? : You can filter your points on those who are archived.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

  • Yes.
  • No.

 

By author : You can filter your points on their author.

When you select the drop- down menu you have the choice between :

 

 

Important : You can filter your points where the important button is activated.

 

                                     

Move columns of grid view :

 

You are able to change the order of the columns of the grid with a drag & drop.

 

 

 

 

Sort data in grid view : 

  • In the Grid view screen, you can click on the column headers to sort the data on this column
  • It is also possible to click on several columns to have multi sorts order
  • When you click on a column:
    • At first click, data are sorted in ascending order
    • At second click data are sorted in descending order
    • At third click, data are no more sorted

Save the sort options in your preferences so that next time you open the Grid screen, the same sort options are applied to the Grid.

 

Details of a point : 

Double-click on a line of a point to display the details of the point. You can then edit the point, add comments, display archived comments, archive the point, delete it, copy the point or copy it to a list.

 

 

This pane will remain open so that if you click on another line, its details will be displayed.
To close it, click on the cross on the top right of the detail pane or by clicking on the function hide details.

 

 

 

The function save filter will give you the possibility save the filters you like.

 

 

 

The function go to list gives you the possibility to exit the grid view and return to the classic display of the points.
